No Washington delegates at Farm Bill Rally

While in Washington, D.C., this week, WAWG leaders joined wheat farmers from Idaho, Montana and Kansas to demand a new Farm Bill move through Congress now. More than 90 ag, consumer and conservation groups joined forces at a rally in the shadows of Capitol this week to tell Congress that they demand a 5-year Farm Bill immediately. A few hundred farmers left their fields and traveled to DC to rally and visit House members. Currently, the House of Representatives has not voted on it's version of a long-term bill.

Multiple members of Congress from farm country attended and/or spoke at the rally that demanded a Farm Bill. No delegates from Washington state attended the rally. READ MORE
