From NASS
There were 5.4 days suitable for fieldwork in Washington, up from 5.1 days last week.
Central Washington had an active weather week. It rained and snowed for a few days, and temperatures were colder than usual. Grass was still not growing and was now about three weeks behind due to the late snow and cool temperatures. Cattlemen turned their cattle out on pasture, but grass growth remained minimal. Yakima County saw rain on Monday night. Nighttime temperatures dropped into the upper 20s for three consecutive nights. Apricots were in full bloom, while peach and cherry buds were enlarged and showed color.
In northeast Washington, grass had not grown due to late snow and cool temperatures. In Douglas County, the snow was gone, and the fields were muddy. Snow mold damaged several thousand acres.
