Participate in the Legislative Action Fund Fundraiser

The Washington Association of Wheat Growers’ (WAWG) Legislative Action Fund (LAF) helps to provide funding for the organization’s lobbying efforts, especially in Olympia and Washington, D.C. It has never been more critical to have wheat growers’ voices heard. WAWG needs your generous contributions to continue to tell wheat’s story and advocate on growers’ behalf on issues such as farm bill programs, carbon taxes, labor concerns, tax preferences, infrastructure needs and more. If you donate $20 or more, your name will be put in a drawing for a chance to win some fabulous prizes donated by Adams County, Columbia County, Benton County, Douglas County, Franklin County, Grant County, Klickitat/Yakima County, Lincoln County, Whitman County, and Walla Walla County at our state banquet, scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2024.

We’ll be giving away nearly $1,000 worth of prizes, including a Pit Boss wood pellet grill and smoker, popular electronics, gift cards and more. You don’t have to be present to win.

*Note: If you have already donated $20 or more to LAF with your membership renewal form, you have automatically been entered in the drawing.

Call for WWF Donations

The Washington Wheat Foundation (WWF) is preparing for its annual fundraising auction at the Tri-State Convention on Thursday, November 21. The WWF is accepting donations of any kind from wheat growers. The auction donation form is found in the convention registration packet growers received from WAWG. Funds raised from the auction support the WWF Ambassador Program, as well as foundation-funded research and project grants. Programs supported through grants include the Northwest Natural Resources Institute, Washington State University small grains research, Washington Ag Forestry, and the FFA Foundation.
