Northwest Washington received a good amount of rainfall. In Cowlitz County, rain was received, and pasture conditions were still holding.
In central Washington, the rainfall was long overdue. Temperatures were mostly average for this time of year, and livestock were still in pastures but being supplemented.
Northeast Washington received precipitation that should help fall-seeded crops get started, and most fall planting was wrapped up.
East central and southeast Washington also received some moisture last week.
